There are many security jobs that people can choose from and one of these is the lead transportation security officer. This person is responsible for identifying, distributing, screening, and balancing the skill level and workflow of several workers. This officer will also train members of the technical team in monitoring the progress and status of people working. In cases of complaints from employees this officer is tasked to resolve these disagreements and will elevate these to his supervisor or manager if they remain unresolved. Team members will coordinate with him in regard to team building activities or coaching sessions.
Aside from these responsibilities, this officer will look after screening procedures for the Transportation Security Administration for the purpose of protecting the public from dangerous objects that might be bought inside the aircraft. Furthermore, this security officer will also screen personnel and equipment when they arrive at the checkpoint. People who may consider security jobs may find this position very challenging, but those who are used to this kind of work find it gratifying. Passengers will feel safe because this officer does his job well in checking their luggage, baggage and other cargo that they bought along. He will communicate with his superiors if there is a glaring security breach.
